Meet Class of 2021 senior, Kaily Whittles from East Peoria High School!

Kaily has so many awesome attributes.. funny, outgoing, beautiful, sassy, caring, love-able, and she is going to be a fabulous nurse some day!  Her goal is to follow her momma’s footsteps and go into nursing school after high school. She has the cutest little sister, named Tommy who is absolutely adorable and the way that Tommy looks up to her big sister melts my heart!

Like many of her peers, starting her senior year looks a little different this year, but the activities that she participates in include Link Crew, Yearbook, and Cheerleading.  Outside of school, she babysits and spends a lot of her time with her friends and boyfriend.  She loves laying out and tanning in the summer and playing Madden on the Xbox.

Kaily’s favorite teacher is her History teacher, Mr. Green because, “he tells it like it is.  My favorite class is Human Anatomy because I enjoy learning about how the human body works.”

I love her advice to new freshman: Always be yourself and don’t change to try and “fit in”

A moment I am most proud of “I passed my accuplacer test so i can take my dual credit classes this year.”

My “perfect day” would be described like this: On my perfect day I would eat a plain waffle for breakfast. Next, I would shower and get ready. Then i would either go to the park with my sister and have a picnic and play or go to chick-fil-a. then i would go home hangout with friends and if i lived on the beach, go and take pictures at sunset.”

Three things on my bucket list include traveling the world, skydiving, and becoming a nurse!

 

 

 

 

Food and Family:

1. What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten? I used to play food dates with my friends and I got mustard mixed with vinegar on a banana and i threw up.
2. What’s your favorite family recipe? Chicken noodle soup because my dad makes homemade noodles and always makes them really thick.
3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pork chops and baked potatoes
4. Favorite childhood memory? My brother and I used to set the air mattress up on the couch and slide down it.
5. Favorite family trip? Florida visiting my brother because we don’t get to see them often

 

I have lot’s of favorite bands and singers and I love a little bit of every genre of music. My faves include Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Brett Young, Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Rod Wave, Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Lil Zay Osama, and Lorde.

My hero is my mom. She proves to me that you can do anything you set your mind to. She is positive and we love listening to Taylor Swift together in the car. My dad is very generous and he always makes good food.  

Random Fun Facts about Kaily!

1. Favorite holiday and traditions: Taking pictures, swimming, fireworks, and getting together with my family on the 4th of July!
2. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go somewhere in the mountains like Colorado where it’s so beautiful and peaceful
3. Favorite sport to watch is basketball. Favorite sport to participate in is Cheer
4. I am not a daredevil at all!
5. Nicknames? My mom calls me Breanne because it’s my middle name or Bree or Breezy
6. Favorite current fashion trend? Jean jackets
7. Favorite colors Green and Pink
8. Favorite places to shop? Hollister and American Eagle
9. Why did you choose Shelby Photography? Ihave been following for almost two years and i have always wanted to participate in themed sessions as a studio representative aka: Shelby Senior.  Cindy shows how much passion she has for photographing her seniors and i knew i wanted to be part of it.
