Meet Chloe Day, Class of 2021 senior from Princeville High School!  I would describe her as a little ray of  sunshine because she has this ability to bring a smile even on the darkest day. She is happy, bubbly, positive, and of course, gorgeous!  I’m always excited to photograph her because it’s fun to see what she is going to wear. Chloe is definitely a fashionista.

“I am a perfectionist that loves to work with other people! I’m super organized, outgoing, and love to stay busy. I love to spend time with friends and family. I love to meet new people and make everyone laugh.”

After graduation, Chloe plans to attend Southern Illinois University and major in Computer Science.  She wants to do something in the field of technology but is not quite sure yet!  Her favorite high school teachers are her technology teachers, Kelly Jenkins and Rachel Bowermaster. “I love these classes because I can be independent doing what I love and they treat me like an adult”  In school, Chloe is a member of the National Honors Society, FCCLA, and Spanish Club. She participates in the school musicals and she has choreographed some of the dances.  She has been involved in Cheer, Golf, Volleyball and  Basketball; she is the Class Vice President and has been active on the Prom Committee.   A big part of Chloe’s life has been dancing. She has danced  since the age of 8 and was involved in competitions and recitals all year round until this past year when her dance studio D/D Productions closed. “I have committed so much time into and love into dance and I am always excited to share with everyone what I have worked so hard on all year.  This year has been really hard since my dance studio closed down but it has given me the opportunity to try new sports with my friends.”

Advice to incoming freshman: “Don’t give into peer pressure and surround yourself with people who love you for who u are. Don’t change!!”

“If I had to describe my best day ever, I would Then I would get dressed and go to peoria and eat lunch with my friends. After, I would go to dance class and practice with all my dance friends. When dance is over, I would go to dinner with my family and go home to bed.”

Three things on my bucket list: 1. Travel 2. Have a big family 3. Have a career that I really enjoy!

“A moment I am most proud of is winning National Champions with my tumbling group in Myrtle Beach!”

Food and Family:

1. My favorite holiday is Christmas and I love going to the Northwoods Christmas program with my entire family. My favorite Thanksgiving holiday is getting together with everyone and eating at my grandparent’s house.
2. The most unusual thing I have ever eaten is pineapple on pizza
3. My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden. I love the chicken gnocchi soups with salad and breadsticks
4. Green tea is my favorite drink. My favorite dessert is cheesecake and favorite candy is Nerd ropes.
5. One of my favorite childhood memories is swimming at my grandmas all day in the summertime.
6. Favorite family recipe: My grandmas Chex mix. It’s the best snack ever.
7. If I could eat only one meal for the rest of may life, I would feast on Chili’s chips and salsa.
8. The best thing about my mom is her personality and humor. She is always making everyone laugh no matter what. She is always willing to do anything for my siblings and I if she knows it will make us happy. My dad is very “chill”. He is always making breakfast for my family and checking in on us when we hide in our rooms.  I really admire my dad because he has worked so hard to provide for our family.
9. One of my favorite things to do with my family is watch movies.
