Central IL photographer | Dunlap senior | Class of 2021 senior pictures
Meet Taylor Weaver, Class of 2021 senior from Dunlap High School! To know this sweet, bubbly, silly, goofy, talented, beautiful girl is to LOVE her. Her personality is contagious and I would have to call her the “Pied Piper” of people; because people, especially kiddos are drawn to her. (she’s a real life people magnet) At the end of her senior session, we photographed Taylor at the Mt. Hawley Country Club pool where she works and trains… the kids crowded around her wanting her attention. They looked up at her with the biggest eyes and smiled and asked if they could swim with her. It was some of the sweetest moments I have ever observed as a photographer! She is a real life super hero in their eyes. (mine too!)
Taylor would describe herself as “the loud friend”. A big extrovert and she loves to make people laugh and have fun. “It’s hard for me to be serious, but I am when I need to be. I’m a huge supporter of treating people the way you want to be treated.”
She is most looking forward to graduation day and seeing everyone dressed up and hearing what everyone’s future plan will be, “what a bittersweet day that will be! I hope this year takes it’s time. I want to cherish this year with my people!” Taylor’s favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Hatch. “I will never forget him. He truly cares about his students and my life outside of the classroom. So much love for him and all he taught me.”
Her favorite class is Forensics. She plans on doing something in law and loves to solve things so that class is “right up my alley”
Taylor loves foot ball games and said that there was no better feeling than cheering on her school and friends. “It’s also a great excuse to dress fun, scream, and be with friends!” In school, Taylor participates in Swim Team, Student Council, FCCLA, as well as St. Jude Club. She is very humble and doesn’t like too much attention drawn on her, but I just have to brag about her… this girl is FIERCE in the water! And recently committed to IUPUI to swim. “It has got to be one of the best moments of my life. It was like all my hard work was really worth it. I have never been more proud of myself than when I took my offer to swim at IUPUI!” Congrats girl!!! She was also the Peoria Journal Star Swimmer of the Year! Boom Tay Tay! I will forever be one of your biggest fans. 😊
