Meet Morgan Wiegardt, Class of 2021 senior from Morton High School!  She is thoughtful, strong, energetic, bubbly, competitive, and absolutely beautiful!!  We love photographing Morgan because she is super sweet and a total natural in front of the camera.

Morgan would describe her personality as shy at first, but one she gets to know a person.. crazy, energetic, and very talkative! “I constantly strive to be the best person that I can be. Sticking up for others and what I believe in is very important to me.”

She plans on attending college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison to major in Veterinary Sciences. “I am most looking forward to graduation. It will be the very first step into the transition to adulthood and something I will remember for the rest of my life.”  Morgan is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Interact and Peer Helper. Outside of school, she plays club volleyball, babysits, volunteers frequently at soup kitchens and TAPS, a no kill animal shelter.

My perfect day would be described as “literally anything on the beach!  The beach is my happy place, I just feel like I’m a happier version of myself on the beach so honestly my perfect day would simply be spent on the beach with my best friends.

Food and Family:

1. The most unusual food I have ever eaten is star fruit
2. If I could eat only one food for the rest of my life, it would be watermelon
3. Favorite family recipe? I love these chips we make because we always make it when we are together and I just love that feeling of togetherness.
4. My favorite childhood memory is when my aunt and uncle took me to a really fancy hotel in Chicago for my birthday gift. I just remember it being so fun and that I loved every second of it.
5. My favorite family trip was to Minnesota because we go every year to a beach there and it’s like we’re in our own little world and I can’t even describe it it’s just the most amazing place.
6. My hero is my mom because she juggles soooo much with her extremely demanding job, getting her MBA, and my insane family, and yet she still manages to get everything done and still keep her sanity.
7. We always buy matching family pajamas every year, wake up around 8 and all go down together to open presents, then a homemade breakfast and a fire and a Christmas movie

    

Three things on my bucket list: 1. Skydive 2. Have a miniature fluffy cow as a pet 3. Swim with sharks

1. Favorite singer/bands: Freddie Mercury/Queen, Steve Perry/Journey, Elton John, Billy Joel
2. I love watching men’s sand volleyball and my favorite sport to play is volleyball
3. If I could travel any where in the world, I would go to the Bahamas because it’s beautiful and it has a beach!
4. The most daring thing I have ever done is climb onto my roof
5. I’m a vegetarian and I LOVE animals!
6. I love to do anything crafty
7. My favorite teacher is Mr. Zoss because he makes class enjoyable. My favorite class is Calculus because I have always likes math.
8. A moment that I am most proud of is when I got a scholarship to a leadership camp that is really hard to get into. I had to write an essay and take an interview so it was really rewarding when I was picked!
9. I am loving animal print things! I love blue because it looks great with my skin tones. My usual school style is casual with a sweatshirt, leggings, and sneakers. I love wearing AE and Nike.
