Marley had me at hello…. I tell her that story every chance I get because it’s sooooooo true! She is one of the bubbliest, quirkiest, goofiest, sweetest, funniest, more beautiful, amazing seniors ever. And the more I hang out with her, the more I adore her. #truestory Check out her bio below and you’ll understand what I mean. She makes me smile!
Marley would describe her personality as funny, kind, animated, unique, creative, humorous, awkward, and bubbly 🙂 She is going to follow her dream that she had as a little girl and go into Vet school at the U of I after high school. Marley is super active in school and participates in Beta Club, Student Council, and Be the First Committee. She also loves Cross Country, Track, Art, Sculpting, Kayaking, and Volunteering! Something that she is most proud of is being voted onto homecoming court her freshman and junior year. It was a huge self esteem boost!
I asked Marley what are three things she couldn’t live without and I LOVED her answer. “I probably couldn’t survive without the love of my life, Phyllis, the Yorkie. She has only one tooth so her tongue hangs out of her mouth and she’s so old and cute! I also couldn’t live without Netflix because I don’t watch regular tv anymore and the last thing would probably be my car, named Lola. She a 2009 Mitsubishi yellow Eclipse and she’s the most expensive thing I own!”
Her most treasured material possession would be a picture frame from Universal Studio and it’s a Harry Potter suitcase and has a picture in it from her freshman year homecoming. “It’s a photo that has all of my friends and every time I look at it, I remember how much I have grown as a person and how I have matured into a strong, young woman. I also LOVE Harry Potter to death!”
The most daring thing she has ever doe was hike 3 1/2 miles straight up a mountain with a baby on her chest! Three things on her bucket list include 1. Rap out an entire song 2. Go to Europe 3. Get a spontaneous kiss that isn’t from a dog
Any hidden talents? “I am really good at stealing food out of people’s hands. Also making the best out of bad situations and I am a ridiculously great swimmer although I’m not on the swim team anymore” Something that most people don’t know about her is that she lifts weights and she is very strong!
One of the most influential person’s in her life would most likely be her dad. He has been encouraging her though her entire life and knows her better than anyone else and always knows what is best for me. One of the best things about my dad is that he is wise and very funny. One of the best things about my mom is she is so down to earth!
She states her hero would probably be Trent Scheuermann, who was her cross country captain her sophomore and freshman year. “He’s smart, funny, and an all around great person. Everyone likes him and he’s always right about everything which can be so annoying sometimes. He always knows what to do and deal with any situation. I hope that as I get older, I can grow up to have a lot of his qualities!”
