Meet the crazy beautiful, Class of 2018 senior, Kenzie Johnson from Washington Community High School! I could hang out with this senior alllllll day long and still not get enough!! She is truly one of the sweetest girls ever and can we talk about those gorgeous locks already… love, love, love!!Kenzie would describe her personality as funny, kind, creative, goal oriented, and optimistic. She has been dancing since she was a little girl and watching her grace and poise during her senior pictures was a highlight of our time together! She participates in lots of school clubs, swimming, soccer, marching band, concert band, musical tech and Kenzie’s hobbies include, shopping, organizing, and hanging out with friends. Advice to incoming freshman: ” Always walk on the right side and fast or you WILL be trampled. Also try to get involved or you’ll regret it!” After high school, Kenzie wants to attended the first two years at ICC and then transfer to OSF nursing school. Ten years from now, she sees herself working at a PICU nurse at St. Jude. Also married to the love of her life and raising two children.
Secret powers.. hearing, “you can’t get anything past me!” If she could have one wish granted, she would want a cure for celiac disease. because “I just want to enjoy Papa John’s Pizza and actual food! Sometimes I have no idea what gluten free food is because it’s not so normal.” Biggest pet peeves – Loud eater or when people wear Camouflage and plaid together – NO!
Kenzie would describe her perfect day as sleeping in until 10:00 am with the sun shining through her windows. She would enjoy her favorite smoothie which is peanut butter and banana, and then get ready for her day of shopping and driving around in her dream Porsche! A stop at Starbucks for her favorite frappacino with her best friends would definitely be on the list that day. In the evening, my friend group of about 10 people would head to Denny’s and she would order her usual sundae or peanut butter pancake breakfast followed by playing Jackbox TV with her friends until vey, very late!
Three things on my bucket list: 1. Travel to all 50 states 2. Go scuba diving 3. See the Northern Lights
The most influential person in her life is her mom because “she supports me on anything and everything I do! She is my hero because she has taught me right from wrong and guided me in the right direction my entire life”
