Meet the lovely, kind, caring, fun-loving, talented, determined, and absolutely stunning, Class of 2022 senior, Jaden Watts from Midwest Central High School! The future is bright for this angel in the outfield who plans on attending the University of Illinois Springfield to pursue a degree in either Political Science or Psychology. Jaden happens to be going there with an athletic scholarship and then she recently received an academic scholarship for being accepted in the Honors program! She is a speedy left-handed hitter who is a force to be reckon with on the field. She plays outfield but can play numerous positions on the defense and she bats right-handed. So talented!!!!
Jaden is most looking forward to graduations and “I am ready to start into my college years! My favorite high school teacher is Mrs. Brodbeck because she is nice and understanding. My favorite class is English because I like to read and write. My favorite school event to attend is homecoming and prom because our school always holds competitions and games to go along with the dances. In school, I participate in softball, Student Council, Science Club, FCCLA, & NCHS. Outside of school, I play travel softball year round. I also help my dad coach a 10u travel softball team and help out with the middle school softball team too.”
“My perfect day would be waking up on a white sand beach, eating pancakes with peanut butter and chocolate almond milk, then laying out all day catching some rays, boogie boarding, looking for shells, then eating crap legs and fruit for dinner watching the beach sunset in a hammock under some palm trees.”
“My parents have always been my biggest supporters when it comes to everything. They have pushed me to be my best in sports and in school. They have put a lot of their time and money into my activities such as softball and I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for them pushing me to always be my best. They work very hard to give my brother and I the best lives possible. I am very fortunate to have the most kind and understanding parents out there and I am thankful that they push me to be my best everyday. My mom because she taught me how to be kind and always be myself, and my dad because he taught me how to be tough and never give up on something I want.”
“My favorite family trop was to South Dakota when I was 9 or 10. We stayed in our camper and went four-wheeler and dirt-bike riding everyday and I remember I had a blast and the scenery was beautiful. My favorite childhood memory was going camping at Clinton lake and tubing, fishing, making s’mores, playing capture the flag with glowsticks and walking through the trails.”
“My favorite family recipe is my mom’s blueberry pie. It’s the best pie I’ve ever eaten!”
“Halloween is my favorite holiday. My favorite holiday traditions are the family gatherings on Christmas and Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, we usually have a fish fry.”

“Three things on my bucket list include Skydiving, traveling to all 50 states, and traveling to Europe!”
My favorite drink is either Gatorade or Body Armor. Favorite candy: Sour Skittles. The most unusual thing I’ve ever eaten is Roe (fish eggs)
“I have a red lab named Remy. We got her when she was a puppy and she is 8. She is very sweet and loves to go to the lake. I have another dog named Gus who is a Dalmatian/great Pyrenees mix. We rescued him 3 years ago and he is 6. He is the sweetest most cuddly dog. I also have a calico cat named Sophie that I got on my fifth birthday which makes her 13. She loves me but can be mean to people she doesn’t know.”
“When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a veterinarian!
“My favorite restaurant is Noodle and Company. I always get the Wisconsin Mac n Cheese!”
