Meet the AUH-dorable, GORGEOUS, bubbly, SWEET, and sassy, Class of 2019 senior from Metamora Township High School, Elizabeth Ufheil!!
After high school, she plans on attending Mizzou to major in nursing (she will me an amaaaazzing nurse!). Liz is super active in school and participates in Cheer-leading, Dance, Softball, Prom Committee, Homecoming Committee, Key Club, Student Council, and National Honors Society. “I am most proud of being in the National Honors Society. I have always worked really hard in the class room and it shows that hard work pays off!: She also loves shopping and working out! Her favorite high school teacher is Mr. Willard who was her honors algebra/Trigonometry teacher. “He is one of the smartest people I know but also one of the sassiest people I know as well.” As for advice to incoming freshman: “Enjoy everything that you do and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Get involved in as many clubs as you can and don’t waste your time on drama. Grades are important, so work hard in the class room as well.”
Elizabeth is most looking forward to homecoming her senior year. “This past year our school went all out during the week and it was so much fun! The cheerleaders play a huge role in the week events and being involved is the best. I am also looking forward to it because I am on the homecoming committee and I have a lot of fun ideas.” One of her favorite school events so far has been her junior prom. “Even though my boyfriend was unable to attend, all of my friends did everything they could to make sure I had fun. I loved my dress and the dance floor was so fun. I am really looking forward to my senior prom.”
I asked Liz to describe her “PERFECT” day… “Working out in the morning, go on a breakfast date, spend the whole day in the summer by a pool or on a lake with friends and family. Then grill some thing for dinner and watch the sunset.”
Three things on her bucket list: Skydiving, Run a marathon, and a hot air balloon ride!
“My hero is my mom because she is awesome. He takes of everything around the house and is able to handle 4 completely different kid’s schedules and always has dinner on the table at the end of the day. Even if she has a bad day that doesn’t stop her from getting stuff done.”
