Happy New Year from Shelby Photography!!  I have been enjoying this festive time of year and if it’s going to be cold,  I LOVE, LOVE the snow!  The past two years, there has been very little snow, so when it started coming down Christmas Eve, I was jumping for joy!

This snowy, Happy New Year inspired session is one of my favorites.  I’m fairly certain I’ve said that after every session, but it’s true.. they just keep getting better and better!!!

I asked the seniors to wear neutral colors with cute hats, scarves, and boots… brought a few props and it snowed the ENTIRE  time.  It snowed so much that I was getting nervous about how wet my camera was getting!   Our time together was super fun and the seniors LOVED it!

Participating in themed sessions throughout the year is one of the fun perks of being a Shelby Senior!  My Shelby Seniors are able to download all of their pictures from each themed session into their personal gallery.  (yep, yep!) They can choose to participate as little or as much as they want!   Some of the sessions that they have participated in this year include

1. Modeling “green session” (introductory shoot as a Shelby Senior),  Prom, Best Friends Sessions, Mother’s Day mini’s, Allerton Park Senior Experience, Fourth of July, Vintage Swimsuit, Skateboard in the Flumes, Fall Fashion, Buffalo Plaid Christmas Tree Farm, Christmas Pajama, and we wrapped it up with this snowy Happy New Year themed shoot!  I always promise at least one themed session per “season” but every year, I throw in many more!

It’s hard to believe, but I am now doing a model call for the Class of 2019!!   There are so many AWESOME perks and the best part is making new friends, feeling beautiful, making memories, boosting self confidence, and just having a super fun time during your senior year!
