Meet the handsome, Class of 2018 senior from Washington Community High School, Colton Heidbreder. One thing for sure, he is as sweet and charming as he is good looking. Those dimples charmed the living daylights out of my camera and can we pleeeeezzzzzeeee have a conversation about his fierce/non-smile/model look…… I mean.. seriously!!!!
Colton would describe his personality as outgoing and quiet. He is just as happy staying at home watching tv or playing video games and he is going out and having fun with his friends. After high school, he plans on attending college and is considering a major in Physical therapy. A moment he is most proud of would be a time he spent volunterring with a child with disabilities who was undergoing physical therapy. Advice to incoming freshman: “Participate in actives and be outgoing”. Colton admits that he is motivated by the desire to be successful in everything that he tries.
When he was a little guy he dreamed of being a professional basketball player. Colton happens to be an avid Chicago Bulls, and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He is also a loyal Clemson fan. Colton loves all sports but especially college football, playing fantasy football and all basketball. In fact, two of his favorite childhood memories include meeting the Chicago Bulls players and watching the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup with his great grandma who is 93 years old.
Three things on his bucket list include: 1. Traveling through the United States 2. Going Zip-lining 3. Swimming with dolphins
Family is very important to Colton. Some of his family values include being respectful to others, work hard.. play hard, and love one another. If he had to choose a hero, he would definitely choose both os his parents because “they have worked really hard to get where they are today. They did it all by themselves. My mom has always been supportive to me and my dad is funny and has a great sense of humor.”
If he could acquire any superpower, he would choose Speed, so he could get his homework done fast and get to work. The most daring things he has ever done is ride a rollercoaster. The most unusual thing he has eaten would be frog legs and if he traveled anywhere in the world, he would go to Maui because the water is blue and crystal clear and it would be “peaceful and quiet”. If he could eat only one meal for the rest of his life, he would choose Quatros pizza. And if he was stranded on a deserted island with only one other person, he would choose, Bear Griles. Something random and fun about himself: “I like to make people laugh.”
