Meet Morgan Behnke, Class of 2020 senior from Morton High School! It was so very cold on the day of her senior session, yet she managed to charm my camera and made the posing look so easy without even turning blue! She was funny and fierce, beautiful and classy!! Those piercing blue eyes and radiant smile were amazing to capture. Morgan would describe her personality as quiet at first, but once she gets comfortable with someone, she is funny! She is also a very organized person.
After high school, she plans on attending ISU to study Elementary Education. She has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. This year, she has most looked forward to the Co-Ed Cheer routine. “Practices and performance are so much fun and it’s funny to watch the guys realize how hard cheering and stunning can be!”
Mr. Zoss, her Spanish teacher is her favorite.. “he connected with the students and shows that he actually cares about the kids!” Her favorite school events would have to be the basketball game, “because I get to cheer.” Besides cheer, Morgan also participates in Dance, works at ROC Ice Cream and Mini Golf and she is a peer helper at the elementary school.
Morgan would describe her perfect day as “sleeping in late, going to lunch, hanging out with friends, and then going to a concert at night”.
Three things on my bucket list are: 1. Front row at a rap concert 2. Go on a cruise 3. Meet a Famous person
“My hero is God because He saved me”
“I’m addicted to Dunkin Iced Coffee!”
What’s the best thing about your parents? “They have always been very supportive of me in everything I do, whether it is as simple as trying out for cheer, or something more serious, such as deciding where to go to college. No matter what, I know they will be there for me and help me through every step of life. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to look up to; they have blessed me with so many things. I will always be their little girl.”

“A moment I am most proud of is earning All-American cheerleader at cheer camp for 2 years and keeping straight A’s all through each level of school so far!”
