Meet the strong, talented, gorgeous, super-smart, amazing, blue-eyed Class of 2020 senior, Kaitlynn Wulfekuhle from Dunlap High School! Admittedly, her senior session was one of my favorites! It just goes to show you how much a positive attitude, sweet personality, and amazing smile will take you on a very cold, overcast day. Love this girl so much!!!
After high school, Kaitlynn plans on attending college to purse a degree in education. She has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. Kaitlynn participates in lots of school activities including Swim Team, Track, St. Jude Club, and she is a member of the National Honor Society. Besides her love for swim and track, she loves going to any sporting event and sitting/cheering in the student section to cheer on her team. Mrs. Master was one of her favorite teachers… she taught Geometry her sophomore year of high school and “she would always help me with anything and was so kind. She was the one teacher that I felt comfortable opening up to as match is not my strong subject. I also love anything history related. I find the past very interesting and not boring (LOL). I’m always intrigued and it’s the one class that I don’t mind studying for.”
Outside of school, Kaitlynn babysits for several different families. “it’s a great experience since I want to become a teacher!” She also works at Arrowhead Country Club in the summer as the head swim coach and head lesson manager. “I volunteer for St. Jude, running to support the kids!” Kaitlynn’s hobbies include shopping, watching movies, walking her dog, and hanging out with her friends.”
“My perfect day would be sleeping in late, spending the day with family and friends, and then watching the sunset go down.”
Three things on my bucket list include: 1. Travel the world 2. Go cliff diving 3. Go snorkeling
“My hero is my mom because she shows me every day how to be the best person ever. She never fails to make me feel loved and helps me with anything I need. She has always been my best friends and my true hero! I can always count on my dad to make me laugh. He is more of a tough love person and doesn’t say it all of the time, but I know he loves me. His hugs are always so warm and he can always joke with me!”
FOOD AND FAMILY:
“One of my proudest moments was the first time I got my 4.0. didn’t struggle in middle school, but I wasn’t the smartest either. My first year in high school I got a 4.0 and was really proud of myself for working so hard and believing I could do it.”
