Grayce.. I call her my Graycie. I feel like she’s one of my own ☺️💕 I can’t help but smile when I think of this B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L girl. Her senior pictures make me feel speechless.. because they are draw dropping, breathtaking, and they just stop me in my tracks!! Love her style, sweet personality and beautiful spirt! XO
Grayce is a Class of 2018 senior from Pekin Community High School. She is a busy girl because she participates in cheer and also works two jobs! When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a pizza delivery driver 😀 After high school, she plans on attending SIUE to major in nursing (she’s going to be the best nurse!)
Grayce would describe her personality as kind, caring and shy at first but once she gets to know someone… lots of fun to be around. She is very outgoing and adventurous and loves to try new things and make new memories. She loves to spend time with her family, hike, go shopping, and attend concerts. Her perfect day would be surrounded with others that make her happy and smile. She would spend time on the beach soaking up the sun and laying in the warm sand. If money were no object, she would travel to Bora Bora and stay in the huts on the ocean because it looks like such a beautiful and fun experience. Three things on her bucket list include: 1. Skydiving 2. Swimming with sharks 3. Visiting every continent at least once in her life. Parasailing is one of the most daring things she has ever done. And hidden talents.. well.. she makes a mean buffalo chicken dip! Biggest pet peeves: “When people scrape their teeth on a fork when eating, and people who drive under the speed limit in the left lane!” Grayce loves animals and has a pet turtle names Mr. Miggle and 3 dogs. She is the oldest child in her family and has 2 younger sisters and a baby brother. A very cool fact: “I attended the junior Olympics for tumbling when I was 8 years old!”
One of the most influential people in her life is her mom because “she is so supportive and does so many things for me. No matter what the situation, she helps me and I think she’s an amazing person and role model. My hero would have to be John Williams who was my tumbling coach when I was younger. She taught me about hard work, determination, and to never give up. I no longer tumble but I still apply these philosophies every day.” A moment she is most proud of would be in 8th grade when she received an outstanding leadership award. She was proud of this award because, “I think it defines a lot about my personality and the kind of person that I am.”
Here are some of Grayce’s fun favorites:
Ten years from now, I see myself as a successful nurse living in a big house with a hot husband and two Pomskeys!
