Meet Ryan McMillan, Class of 2018 senior from Dunlap High School!  During his viewing session, it was so fun to hear that one of his favorite college of choices, Mercer University in Macon, Georgia notified him that he was accepted!!  Ryan will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering in college.

I’ve know Ryan  since he was a little one.  It’s so hard to believe that he’s so close to graduating and ready to move onto college.  I’m incredibly proud of this guy and the young man that he has become… smart, very handsome, personable, super sweet, and he takes good care of his mama!

One of the best memories in high school has been his last soccer season because soccer has always been a huge part of his life and this was his last competitive season.  Besides soccer, Ryan has participated in basketball.  One of his favorite school events would have to be going to all of the basketball games, showing school pride and hearing everyone chant from the student section!  Ryan also enjoys skateboarding and he’s an awesome snowboarder (I’ve seen him firsthand on the slopes!).  In fact, he would describe his perfect day as waking up to go snowboarding in the morning and spending the rest of the day on the beach.  One of the most daring things he has ever done was skydiving.   If Ryan could travel anywhere in the world, he would go backpacking in Alaska to see the Northern Lights and hunt.

My hero is my mom. She’s great and one of the strongest and most caring persons I know!
