Meet Jenna French, Class of 2019 senior from Eastland High School! Jenna was sooooo fun to photograph, obviously gorgeous but a bubbly, outgoing, fun, sweet girl!
“I love being around happy and positive people that make me laugh. Although I love spending time with many people, I love to be in touch with nature. Spending time planting flowers or hanging out with a few of my close friends at a park is where I am most content. Keeping in touch with Earth is always something I enjoy. I am also a very curious character, I want to see and do everything. I want to travel the world. I love making new memories and experiencing new things!”
After graduation, Jenna plans on majoring in (possibly) Business and attending University of Wisconsin in Madison. Jenna is a very talented golfer and this year, she is look gin forward to State Golf. “. I think we have a great team this year and have the potential to make it far enough to get to state. If we don’t make it that far, then just the golf season in general is something I am looking forward to!” Her favorite class is art because she is able to express herself through painting and drawing. “art gives me such a good feeling and I love being able to see a final product of something that I made on my own, it’s so cool. Art is something I love to do, in and outside of school.” One event she is most looking forward to this year is helping with the plant sale that her school puts on every year. “On top of it, being able to spend your time in the warm, good-smelling greenhouse is a total bonus!” Besides golf, Jenna participates in Student Council, Servant Leadership, Yearbook, Cinema Club, FFA, and FCCLA. A moment she is most proud of is getting onto Servant Leadership after not being accepted but then being able to prove that she is capable of doing it and getting on! Advice to incoming freshman: My advice would be to be kind to everyone, especially to yourself. People can be rude, but you often get what you give, so I believe that putting kindness out in the world can also help you receive kindness. Don’t be so hard on yourself, because it doesn’t solve any problems that you might have. Just smile and realize that this is a small chapter of your life and you are capable of doing fantastic things!
Three things on her bucket list: Go to a flower field, Own my own business 3. Travel the World
“My hero is my cousin, Denise. She has been through so much, but she still manages to be one of the most kind-hearted people I know. She is someone I can rely on and turn to for everything and she has helped me through anything I may need help with.”
“The best thing about my Dad is his drive for being the best he can be, and wanting the same thing for me. Him and my mom have a drive that I admire. They are very hard workers and they make sure that my brother and I have what we need to pursue our dreams and aspirations.”
Here are some of Jenna’s fun facts and favorites!
