Madison Vancil | Class of 2018 | Metamora High School

August 17, 2017

Meet Madison Vancil, Class of 2018 Senior from Metamora High School!  I’ve been taking her photograph since she was a little girl and it bleeeeewww me away to see her several years later; I just can’t believe she’s a senior now and wow, she’s just gorgeous!! My camera loved her as you can see from her photos.  Madison killed it with her sweet and sassy personality.  I loved her styling! Her softball pictures are amazing too.. and we did a bonus mini family session with the family at the end.

Madison would describe her personality as laid-back, sports, adventurous, honest, and independent!  Her nickname: Maditude!  Love that!

After high school, she plans on attending ICC and wants to major in Physical Therapy. When she was a little girl, she dreamed of being a singer.   She loves playing softball and one of her proudest moments would have to be when she committed to play softball for ICC.  She also loves watching softball and her favorite team is the Chicago Cubs.   Some of Madison’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, swimming, eating lots of ice ream and shopping at Nike Outlet stores.  She LOVES roller coasters.   Madison would describe her perfect day as swimming in the ocean and laying out on the beach!  If she had any superpower, she would control time because she does want to be an adult with the responsibility of paying bills anytime soon!  LOL   Advice to incoming freshman: “Be nice to everyone, be crazy, and don’t procrastinate!”

Madison shared that the person that makes her laugh the most in life is Sidney Litviak and if she was stranded on a deserted island with one other person, she wouldn’t care who it was as long as they had great survival skills!

I had to smile when I asked Madison what her family “motto” was… she said, “Get in the car!!”  She said her hero was her grandpa because he is strong and witty and is super nice to everyone plus he makes the best pie.  A favorite family trip was a family trip to Colorado because it was absolutely beautiful and her dad rented a ridiculous 15 passenger van to travel in.  A highlight of the trip was white water rafting.  A favorite family tradition happens to be going to the Duck Inn after they cut down a Christmas tree every year.  A favorite childhood memory is playing beauty parlor and doing everyone’s hair and makeup!  “The best thing about my parents is they are very supportive of everything I do and have a good sense of humor. ”  Favorite family recipe: Chocolate chip banana bread and favorite meal: Fuji Apple Salad from Panera.
