I feel truly blessed to be able to follow my dream of being a photographer. I absolutely LOVE what I do! From the time I picked up a camera, I was obsessed with taking pretty pictures. After 12 years, my focus has shifted… I have come to realize that one of the most important parts of my job is telling your story through my lens. If I’m photographing your wedding day, I focus on authentic, natural and real moments. If I’m photographing your senior pictures, your personality and inner beauty will shine through! These are the moments that you will forever cherish and remember. Welcome to the blog. I can’t wait for the opportunity to capture YOU and tell your story!
Meet the G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S Class of 2019 senior, Katie Haines from Peoria Notre Dame HS. I have known her since she was a little one and I find it unbelievable that she is a senior now! She has turned into a beautiful, sweet, lovely, kind, amazing young woman.
After high school, she plans on attending college to major in Dentistry. Her favorite class is anything math related because she’s very good at it and “I actually know what I’m doing!” This year, she looks forward to going to all of the football games because of the Irish nation. Katie loves her school pride and “it’s really love to do the cheers and be with almost the entire school cheering on our team. “I also really like the themes because they are fun to dress up!” Katie is an talented athlete and participates in Lacrosse and Basketball. She has a creative side and loves to draw/color, and watch Netflix. Advice to incoming freshman: ” Do your homework and work hard because it only gets harder!”
Katie would describe her perfect day as “Sleeping in until 9:30, and enjoying a good breakfast. After getting ready for the day, she would relax and watch crime shows. Followed by a fun lunch with friends and then going to a movie.”
Three things on her bucket list: 1. Travel out of the country 2. Jump off of a waterfall 3. Be successful
“My hero is my mom because she works so hard. She is always there for me and makes everything better. She always knows what to say and is always serious but had the best sense of humor.”
