Jessica Snyder | Peoria Notre Dame High School | Class of 2017

November 17, 2016

Hello gorgeous! Meet the super sweet senior from Peoria Notre Dame High School, Jess Snyder!

Peoria Notre Dame High SchoolJess would describer herself as reserved and introverted, quiet and caring.  She is a talented gymnast and teaches gymnastics to children! She also babysits and helps out at a daycare. She loves the St. Louis Cardinals. After high school, she plans on attending the University of Iowa and majoring in athletic training.  Advice to incoming freshmen: “I would tell them not to be nervous and to enjoy their freshmen year before things get harder and you regret what you didn’t do that year.”  My hero ~ ” God, because there is no one greater than Him. There is no one better to look up to than God.”  What motivates Jess?  “I am motivated by my own personal goals. I push myself really hard. I am motivated by my ideas of how I want to be or how I want things to be”

A moment that I am most proud of: “The moments where I am always most proud are when I can teach someone something and watch how it impacts their life. I am a gymnastics teacher and I love helping kids learn a new skill and then being so excited to show their parents!”

“I would describe my “perfect day” as waking up well rested and lying in my bed for awhile and not having to get up until the sun rises. Then I would get up and watch some tv and eat a good healthy breakfast and take time do something for myself. I would go on a hike and then I would have gymnastics practice.  After practice, I would go out with my best friend, drive around, and do fun things until it’s time to go home”

Three things on my bucket list: 1. Climb a waterfall and swim in it 2. Take a picture with a baby elephant 3. Meet and have a personal connection with someone famousTen Fun facts about Jess

  1. Best family trip – A trip to New York because it was fun being in a big city and I enjoyed being there with my family
  2. Favorite family holiday tradition: Going to my great grandparents and my great grandpa always being bartender and getting all of the grown up drinks and the kids root beer. I enjoy just being with my family
  3. Favorite family recipe: My grandma’s sweet potatoes
  4. Best thing about my parents: They support me and help me out/make me smile when I am having a rough day
  5. Favorite sport to watch and participate in: I love gymnastics. My favorite sports to watch are baseball and football
  6. Most daring thing ever done: Zip lining
  7. Favorite TV show to binge watch: Any crime show
  8. If I could have any superpower: I would have the power of invisibility because then if I feel uncomfortable, I can become invisible and it would be good for surprises and be fun to mess with people.
  9. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Hawaii because it’s very pretty and just seems picturesque and alot of fun
  10. Something random about myself that most people don’t know: I have an extra bone in my foot!

Jess – You are a beautiful soul, inside and out and I feel completely and totally blessed that I was able to capture this special time in your life!  Thank you SOO much and good luck as you finish the last 1/2 of your senior year.. I know it’s going  by incredibly fast!  XO ~ Cindy
