Autumn Hyatt | Class of 2017 | Pekin Community High School

November 23, 2016

I’m crazy about this girl!  Meet Autumn Hyatt, Class of 2017 Senior from Pekin Community High School!

2016-11-23_0034Autumn would describe her personality as fun, uplifting, compassionate, and thoughtful.  Perfect characteristics for what she wants to do for a career.. She plans on attending college after high school to get a degree in Elementary Education!  She loves helping people and making a difference in their lives.

A moment that Autumn is most proud of was when she experienced helping a child by teaching them something new. “Seeing the expression on their face was priceless”

When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a hairstylist.

Advice to incoming freshman: “Don’t be scared to ask questions, it makes a huge difference! Also, be nice to everyone!!”  Autumn loves to travel, play with her dogs and has fun doing crafts. She is a cheerleader an sits on the Peer Advisement Committee.

“My perfect day would be waking up and eating a plate of pancakes with peanut butter on them.  I would be on a beach in Bora Boar with some of my best friends and family.  After breakfast, we would go hiking or ride bikes all over the island to explore. Afterwards, we would soak up the sun on the beach and then watch the sun go down while sipping on a strawberry banana smoothie”

Three things on her bucket list: 1. Go to Niagara Falls 2. Go Parasailing 3. Go Flyboarding

“My hero is my older brother, Austin. He has proven to me not to care what others think of me and to do what makes me happy, not what makes others happy. He comforts me when I’m sad and always checks up on me. I couldn’t live without my brother, he is my hero.”   Best thing about my parents: “They have raised me to believe in myself with whatever I’m doing and have always made me feel important and loved. They are the reason I am who I am today and I can’t thank them enough!
